English translation: Yes, putting their efforts into

The X Group has been putting their efforts **on** areas such as product development and branding, and changing its range of products responding to feedback from customers and developing products to meet customer needs.

I saw "putting their efforts into" on the Internet, so I wonder if it is better to use "into" than "on".

Also, as X-Group is singular, I personally would say "its" instead of "their", though a lot of people do use the plural with a company.

agree  Björn Vrooman: Curious; AFAIK, the use of plural verbs with companies is mostly a British thing; you'll find that occasionally in AmE. If I interpret this correctly, it should be responding = in response to (or "based on"). The three -ing endings are somewhat confusing.
