Romana Wyllie qualified in translation and interpreting at Charles University, Prague and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago. She has over 20 years` senior management experience in Marketing, Communications and Investor Relations in major multinational companies having worked for Czech Telecom, Contactel, Astra Zeneca, PPF and Central European Media Enterprises in Prague and London. In the past, she was an external translator for 5 years for the Novartis Czech Republic. She is currently a freelance translator, with recent work including pharmaceuticals, medical research, new drug research, trans-creation of dental marketing documents, translation of filings for the State Institute of Drug Control (SÚKL) in the Czech Republic, patient`s information leaflets. She is also focused on legal and finance and translated KIIDs, SEC filings, form S-1 and 10-K, she reviewed Prague stock exchange press releases and filings in the Czech Republic, translated audit reports, tax legal actions, annual reports, Senior Secured Notes legal action, general legal contracts. She translated many marketing documents including trans-creation of brochures and website for unmanned aerial vehicles producer, marketing documents for global window producer, press releases for the food manufacturer. She is married to a British husband who proofreads all her translations into English and works for freelance translators and for the University of Banska Bystrica.
