In just a few hours the translation contest, "The Sounds of Silence" will end the Qualifications phase. There is still time to rate entries on quality and accuracy, to define which translations make it to the Finals. If you have not already, please take a look at some of the translations made by colleagues in your language(s)-- those language pairs may be in need of help to make it to the finals!

Ramon Woolfe is a British Sign Language and International Sign interpreter, translator, presenter, and founder and CEO of his own company. He is also the first person to participate in ProZ.com translation contests with an entry in sign language.

(6) Translation and interpretation services in English unaffected by Brexit
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
According to a recent article in The Guardian, the European Commission's proposed budget for 2021-2027 indicates there will not be a reduction in its use of English in meetings and documents, and that "translation and interpretation services in the English language will also remain unaffected."
