It's not a good year... Nov 19, 2017

... if it doesn't have one good ol' burnout. Which makes the subsequent chill-out twice as enjoyable.

Over the years, I learned to know my limits and I don’t accept more than I can chew. Never had a burnout, even when my three children were still at home (I’m a single parent) and managed two jobs. I might have been very close to dead tired, but no one spoke of burnout back then. The big difference today is that I’m not obligated to do so, if I decide to work long hours is because I’m “in the flow”...

Not sure Nov 19, 2017

I recently had a rough time reading 165 pages of tiny print in a PDF - it turned out that one of my eyes needed surgery. Now that the surgery has been done, I don't have any problems seeing and I'm feeling very relaxed.

I'm glad to hear the problem was identified and, most of all, sorted out.

No burnout Nov 20, 2017

But I did have to take a week off because my eyes hurt. And began suffering from sciatica.... Hmm. Perhaps a burnout would have done me some good.
