working Sep 20, 2018

I will be working, if it is a weekday - International Translation Day doesn't really mean anything to me.

Don't know when Sep 20, 2018

But if it's the 30th of September, I'll either be packing or travelling home from a short holiday, so am unlikely to be working that day.

Not that I celebrate this sort of thing Sep 20, 2018

I probably won't be working in that my son is arriving just the day before, so I want to spend some time with him.

That said, there's an alumni meetup a few days ahead of it which I might just go to in networking mode.

Chris, LOL, you're aiming low surely?

St. Jerome Sep 20, 2018

I'll be working, while glancing up occasionally at my print of St. Jerome, beavering away with his books, and watched over by three lovely muses.

Working, of course. Sep 20, 2018

So many questions in the QP lead us to think translators are always looking for excuses not to work, and this is so untrue. Weekends, birthday, valentine's day, vacations... we are working in all of these days. Our breaks may be on a Monday or a Wednesday, business day or otherwise.
