Cue some pedant saying that actually Shakespeare used to get take-out on the weekend. Whatever.
In close second, "myself".
As in "Myself and Jayden were having a lobotomy".
And don't start me on "learnings" and "trainings".

I deeply dislike words like “implementação” (implemention), “alocação” (allocation), “empoderamento” (empowerment) and I cannot stand the “invasion” of foreign words into Portuguese when, as someone once said, “there are words in the Portuguese lexicon which can be perfectly used instead of the snobbish foreign terms”.

I hate all the anglicisms that have crept into our beautiful language, Danish:
Computer: elektronisk maskine der styret af software [yikes!] kan behandle store mængder data på en systematisk måde
or simply: datamat
Printer: maskine som udskriver tekst eller grafik fra en datamat
or simply: skriver
Keyboard: elektronisk tangentinstrument
or simply: tastatur

- La eliminación del acento diacrítico (sólo - solo, éste - este)
- La eliminación de otros acentos (guión - guion, truhán - truhan)
- El cambio de la escritura de palabras (quorum - cuorum, Qatar - Catar, whiskey - güisqui)
- El cambio del nombre de letras ("y" ya no es i griega, sino "ye"; "v" ya no es v chica/v corta/v baja, sino "uve")
- La aceptación de palabras consideradas mal escritas/inexistentes/errores (almóndiga, toballa)

When I was growing up, the word 'dag' meant both 'hello' and 'goodbye'. Now everybody says 'hoi' for hello and 'doei' (pronounced dooy in English) for goodbye. I can't help it but it sounds too informal to me, something children might say to each other but not appropriate for adults. I can't bring myself to jump on that bandwagon.

It is not a word. I dislike neologisms made of collapsed words.
Oh and people starting sentences with the word "So,...".
And abuse of the word "Clearly" in British English, it seems to have replaced "actually". And as soon as a politician says "Quite frankly..." I am waiting for the whopping lie which invariably follows.

In Brazi, there is this new wave of "the language is alive" and "language bias" whose followers think everything has to be accepted. Lazy minds mispell words and use words in foreign languages, or worse: adapt the foreign word to Portuguese, and create horrible terms and expressions. Professional translators will not accept that. People who respect their language will not accept that.
