Other Nov 27, 2018

Although I've had less work in 2018 than in the previous couple of years, I'm still happy that I'm getting enough to keep ticking over. The main difference is that I've had a lot more outgoings this year, with a holiday abroad in the summer (I usually spend summer at home in Spain or not too far away), so I'm a bit more stretched financially than usual. However, I have no unusual expenses planned for 2019, so hope to slowly gradually regain any lost ground by summer next year.

I'm happy Nov 27, 2018

Though I tired myself out and decided to take a month off because I was too stressed and exhausted.

I’m happy with 2018 Nov 27, 2018

1. my employer loves me,
2. I love what I do,
3. I love my long-standing customers, they love me back and have kept me busy the whole year,
4. I don't take work that doesn't make me happy,
5. I would be even happier if one of my new clients wasn’t so disorganized and I didn’t stumble occasionally on a non-payer client …

I've been happy with my workload - but many seem to be paying late this year.

Peaks and troughs Nov 27, 2018

In my case, the annual workload is fine but it's concentrated from February to July. I was totally overwhelmed in May but am now in a horrible slump - not good for the blood pressure!

Same here, Tracy Byrne Nov 27, 2018

Only in my case, it was concentrated from January through May - and it is piling up again now!

Other - very irregular Nov 27, 2018

Although the volume was pretty good in most months, and the overall volume was not bad at all, the monthly volumes were very irregular. I had three months way below the average and three months way above the average. I'd love to have regularity, but I don't thing that's feasible in our world.
