The agency which launched this project recommended me to use Subtitle Edit ... (I have a Mac, maybe it can be important to know it). Do you know if it is worth paying for the complete version of Subtitle Edit (10,99€ only on the AppStore)?
€11 is almost nothing! If you can't afford to spend €11 as a business expense on this job, then maybe your rate is too low. How much will you be getting for the entire job?
I have to deliver the .srt file of the 53-minute video until Monday, May, the 27th, 17h (Paris time).
There may be other tools out there that are cheaper than €11, but you may not be able to learn how to use them in time for your 5 PM deadline today.

Hello ! I realize it's a bit late, but I recommend AegiSub for subtitling. It's a completely-free software and I've been using it for 5 years already.
Is it fairly easy to learn quickly?
