Hello all. I cannot get my head around this title : ... el trabajo titulado el Apretón contra la Reproducción Campesina Indígena y la Estrategia de Diversificación como Resistencia Económica.
It's from a study on the economic rationale and strategies of smallholder families in Guatemala. The section that includes this title proposes that smallholder economy has a role to play in the current national economy and that it is viable and should not be seen as merely as a step on the path towards bigger business.

I think 'apretón' is quite clear. I'm more confused about 'reproducción' (shouldn't it just be 'producción'?)

| Well, how that you say so... Yeah, if the title is taken as two different concepts, squeeze makes sense. I was looking at is as a squeeze against "reproducción" and "estrategia" and it wasn't making sense. Thanks! "Material reproduction" is a term from Marxist ideology I believe. |
