import：indicate，本义是表明/表示的意思，指的是这个word表示的是单数涵义。但“表明单数形式的词”并不符合中文语言习惯，故而应该改为“以单数形式出现的词”。
另外，上面的证据也不是很恰当。一个恰当的例子是，在协议的“definition”章节中，如果对"person"作出了定义，说明person指的可能是自然人、法人、非政府组织、以及其他法律实体，那么协议正文出现"persons"时，该以复数形式出现的单词其含义应该与“definition”章节中对"person"的定义一致。
