English term

on a same-day basis

English to Swedish Bus/Financial Finance (general)
"Thereafter you must also be in a position to meet any subsequent margin call on a same-day basis"

Sorry Mrten, not Martin.
Madeleine MacRae Klintebo (asker) Jan 24, 2006:
To Charles: In this case, the products are generally CFDs and at the end of the day a calculation is made of the profit/loss that would be made if the client closed the position at that time. The client thus needs to have enough funds in his/her account to cover any deficit (for that day). Otherwise the position is automatically closed. To protect investors (and the company offering the product). For this reason, the magin call is made on the same day. If the client continues to hold his/her, he/she might loose an enormous by the next morning if the market moves against him/her.
Have had a few ideas about how to get info through clearly (along the lines of 'samma dag som de(n) utfrs' and will grade Martin's answer when I've made my decision.

agree Charlesp : agree, but the origional text needs to be checked - the margin call is usually met the following day.
