German term

Ampelkonto

German to English Bus/Financial Accounting
This is from an ERP-Software translation that I'm working, so there isn't much context. I did find a definition of what it is in German: http://www.arbeitszeitberatung.de/az-datenbank/definitionen/...
But, I really don't know what we would use in English(USA). Was thinking of using "overtime tracking account", but I'm not sure that's right.

compensatory time tracking record

My company refers to this as compensatory time, so does the link. It sounds close to what you want.

However, this is usually when you work MORE than your allotted hours whereas your German definition sounds like it goes both ways.

I guess in the USA if you come up short too many times, you get fired (shown the RED card, maybe). My company, for one, trusts the people as long as they get the work done.
Note from asker:
Hey, Thanks for the help. Ampelkonto is a bit of a tricky one since we don't really have anything like in the US, since our labor laws aren't as strict. Anyway, thanks again! Bryan

Think like a German! Ampel= traffic signal= red yellow or green?
Ask your contact at the customer if this particular ERP application has some early warning function. Just a thought but, I hope this gives you something to work with.
