Not sure.
Have a look at spatulated/cobra-head anastomosis, which is a sort of "dovetailing" - fitting a smaller vessel into a larger one

Sentence: "Es erfolgt nun eine Patcherweiterungsplastik nach einer teilweisen "Thrombendarteriektomie mit Surgipro II 6.0 in fortlaufender Nahttechnik, bei der eine Schwalbenschwanzanastomose durchgeführt wird. Nach Freigabe mehrere Nachstiche erforderlich. Es herrscht nun ein sehr guter Abstrom in die Peripherie. "
