: 善and悪 make me think of 「勧善懲悪」 whereas 間違っていること is basically about making mistakes, I would have thought.

In business these days companies will often speak of their duty to "do the right thing" vs, the wrong thing. I think 正しいことと間違っていること has this nuance.
