Please note that 度目違い fabric is not always stripe pattern; I couldn't find good samples of linens and napkins, but I'm sure you get the idea.
Also, I have some doubts about "cotton sheeting". Though it is used in Japanese web sites to mean "天竺(木綿)", or シーチング, it rather means "cotton sheets" outside of Japan/Asia, maybe. It's a type of plain woven cotton, . I may just say "cotton".

I'm not sure about 度目違い, but it may mean that the fabric was woven with uneven density to give a particular texture effect.
