Although it's not exactly the same thing and you still have the Romanian frigarui for the real kebab, I think most people will identify mititei as kebab.

: "Mititei" are not on a skewer and the meat is ground.

You're right, this is why I added a comment. I think mititei should be used since it's a traditional dish, and an explanation added
