Volumul este broşat iar foile sunt nefranjate iar coperţile sunt din hârtie de culoare verzuie.

I am sure this is from the word "franjurat". In this case we would certainly used the term "frayed", rather than "fringed"

In franceza, termenul frangé (de unde vine "franjat") poate avea semnificatia de bordura. Deci, termenul ar putea fi - fara chenare. Mi se pare oarecum straniu sa se mentioneze ca paginile nu au franjuri sau nu sunt fragile in mijlocul unei descrieri a aspectului vizual si nu in descrierea conditiei de pastrare.
