Source text - English The Cherry Blossom Parade and Festival celebrates the gift of 3000 cherry trees from the city of Tokyo to the people of Washington DC in 1912. The spectacular parade takes an entire morning to move along Constitution Avenue. Marching bands from across the nation and around the world fill this grand avenue from 7-17th Streets, with colour and music. Spectacular floats, costumed dance troupes, giant helium ballons, celebrity guests and the stunning Cherry Blossom queen herself all appear in the parade, which gathers donations for charities which give opportunities to disadvantaged young people.

Bio
I started working as a freelance translator during my studies in Arts and Humanities. I worked as a freelance translator for Berlitz Ibérica S.A. between 1999 and 2001. That experience gave me the opportunity to work on a wide range of documents and develop an expertise that meets the highest standards.
After focussing on my PhD in Arts and Humanities (at the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne) I also realized different translations within academic context in UK, France and Spain.
I have been specializing in the medical area of expertise since 2012, collaborating with Transperfect (I was included in the 2013 and 2014 Transperfect VIP Rewards program), TransCom Global Ltd. and Donnelley/SDL (all ISO 9001 and EN 15038 certified), as well as ITtranslation (Belgium, Spain). As a TREMEDICA professional member, I have access and work with the official MedDRA terminology.
I own a SDL Trados Studio 2019 License as well as a WordfastPro 5 License. I am also familiar with MemoQ and Memsource.
