Spanish term
sin merma de su integridad
Spanish to English
Law/Patents
Law (general)
This is from a notarial document in which one party grants a chattel mortgage to another on some trademarks. In one part of the document it says: "La parte hipotecante podrá usar normalmente los bienes hipotecados conforme a su destino, pero sin merma de su integridad."
I think I get what it means, but I can't think of the right phrase. The previous clause concerned the grantor not being able to sell the trademarks without the other party's consent, if that helps.
British English, but all contributions welcome.

I believe that "prejudicial" is a term associated with human rights and I think here it is a question of right to usage??:) Just a thought...
