Hello everyone,


We are currently looking for qualified freelance linguists to support ongoing acceptability/evaluation projects with commenting on the OneForma platform.

Project Scope:

Linguists will evaluate translated sentences through one of the following workflows:

1. Comparing two or more translations of the same source text and rating them on a 0–100 scale based on quality and accuracy.
2. Evaluating a single translation by judging how accurately it conveys the meaning of the source text.

For each evaluation, linguists may also be required to provide comments explaining their assessment, highlighting relevant linguistic aspects such as meaning accuracy, grammar, fluency, or other issues affecting translation quality. Some tasks may also include the previous and following sentences to provide additional context.

In addition to assigning an evaluation score, linguists will be required to provide comments explaining their assessment when needed. The comments should highlight the reasons behind the assigned score, such as meaning accuracy, grammar issues, fluency, or other relevant linguistic aspects.

The evaluation is performed based on predefined quality criteria and does not require rewriting or correcting the translations. Linguists will review, score, and comment on the translated outputs.

Requirements:

* Strong understanding of the source language
* Experience in translation, proofreading, review, QA, or linguistic evaluation is preferred
* Ability to apply detailed evaluation guidelines consistently
* Ability to provide clear linguistic comments explaining evaluation decisions

Important Notes:

Before accessing production tasks, linguists must successfully complete a free online certification provided through the platform. Detailed instructions and evaluation guidelines will be shared during the onboarding process.
