Bio

Hello,

My name is Shrouk Ibrahim. I am fluent at Korean, English, and Arabic. I completed my Master’s degree in a Korean university and I lived in Korea for more than 4 years.

Starting from my academic background, I obtained Bachelor's degree from the Korean Language Department at Ain Shams University in Egypt. I also finished my Master's degree at the Graduate School of KyungHee University as a scholarship student invited by the Korean government. In Egypt, I worked as a Korean translator at LG electronics. And I also worked at the Korean Cultural Center as a Korean instructor. In Korea, I worked in Korean translation, business management, marketing and I also taught Arabic to Koreans. So in general, I have been studying and building my career in Korean language for almost 10 years.

I am certified as a professional Korean instructor. And I am also certified to teach Arabic as a foreign language. That's why I was able to work as an Arabic instructor in Korea. I successfully reached level 6 which is the highest level at the Korean language Proficiency test.

In addition, among the freelancing jobs that I am proud of, is that I translated a whole book from Arabic to Korean. And I also translated a whole Korean Andriod apps into Arabic. I was also selected by my korean professor to work as a Korean instructor for Arab students in Kyunghee University International education center. I also did international interpretation for the Iraqi special envoy and the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. I was hired as an Arabic interpreter during a meeting with the Iraqi Planning Minister and the Iraqi Ambassador. I was also a mentor at the Korean Immigration office to interpret for the Yemen refugees in Korea. If you give me a chance depending on my experience, I will make sure to provide you with a very high-quality translation job. Thank you for reading so far.
