Bio
My name is Aïcha. I have been working as a freelance translator (Arabic, English and French) for the last 11 years in Montpellier. I am Tunisian and I have been living in France for the last 13 years. My mother tongues are Arabic and French.

What am I keen on doing?

- I translate documents related to Human rights (women, youth, prisoners, immigrants mainly and very often for EUROMED France) and social sciences as well as legal files, marketing, tourism and medical documents

- I have been working on medical translation + proofreading for hospitals in the UK and Australia, namely: https://www.jeanhailes.org.au/health-a-z/endometriosis/symptoms-causes#when-to-get-help

- I proofread, correct and rewrite documents so that they reflect the style and the content needed

- I help different persons to write their own reports (I hold a PhD in Translation Studies: style in translation as a field of specialisation)

- I also interpret for social services in France and teach French to foreigners (mediation, intercultural communication and language of course).

I am always glad to work on new projects when my "savoir-faire" is needed in order to continue learning too.
