And on the odd occasion when I do check the job listings, it is merely out of curiosity, since I don't need any more work than I currently have.

I only check jobs when I get notifications that interest me Jan 31, 2023

Then, if I reply or not to a job posting depends on a wide variety of factors. I’m much more interested in being contacted directly through the directory by potential clients and that’s what happens more often than not…

...but sometimes the job is published and notification is missing. Though I have Proz.com excluded from anti-SPAM filters...

It's weird, and I suggest a conspiracy! A dark soul without honor steals my notifications from Web routers...

I assume it's still the same as it was when I last looked a few years ago: all bottom feeders and spammers but still getting 500 stupidly low quotes in 5 minutes.

I check the job listing here whenever I happen to have some free time. Usually I disregard it rather quickly due to the many "best rate" demands because I simply can't afford to work for peanuts.

I might check it more frequently, but the job notification system doesn't always seem work.

I am very irregular. Sometimes I go for months without looking at ProZ at all. Sometimes I only visit when I get a notification that catches my eye. And sometimes I browse jobs quite regularly, let's say a few times a week. There is no particular pattern.

I agree with those of you who said the notifications do not always make their way into our mailboxes. It is true!

I hardly ever look as I have almost never had a response to an application. Those who do reply want to drop the rate by about 20-25%. I get the impression that advertisers are looking for the lowest possible price.
