I have a few practical pieces of advice for my younger self: the first is to try to get accepted to and to go study in academic schools abroad (there are scholarships), because the different perspective and the belief in people’s abilities are two tools from two worlds for every person in every field. The second is that I would shorten my work periods or entirely avoid working under people that did not believe in me personally or in women in general. To believe in my own value and to make sure the compensation is appropriate.
More philosophical pieces of advice would be to think beyond the invisible borders (that have been placed in our consciousness and in reality). To listen to the heart and find solutions to challenges that you think are important, that you have a strong faith and passion towards. An important sentence to remember in this context is that you never fail if you keep trying.
Advice I would ignore would be that you have to be an expert in a certain field. The truth is that narrow expertise is sometimes obstructive while a broader understanding of a wide variety of fields is a lot more fitting for entrepreneurship.
In general, you should be selective with advice because they are derived from life experiences and agendas that aren’t always clear to us. When I decided to send the first delegation of entrepreneurs to Silicon Valley, many were opposed to the idea of a delegation of women. One of the senior members of the industry claimed that my initiative would cause damage to women because it gives the impression that women cannot succeed without me, or that they require designated assistance. I was sure that such a delegation was necessary because I saw that women were not applying for similar delegations and I was aware of the great potential they could bring to them. Ever since then for about a year, I raised over 100,000 dollars in sponsorships and sent out 3 delegations of 50 female entrepreneurs who have raised a fortune, there are companies sold and countless testimonies to show how important this journey was for the women who took part in it and their careers.
The more influence a person has and the higher their position is, the larger their mistakes are. That is why it’s important to go with your belief and continue towards your goal even when tens and hundreds of people think otherwise. When I started my investment body WeAct Ventures, I met hundreds of investors until I found the right way to carry out my vision and initiative in a manner that would alleviate the financers’ doubts and worries and accomplish the goals I was striving towards.

Source text - English In March 2016, after two years of searching and postponing, DaPulse's founders, Roy Mann and Eran Zinman, decided it was time to change the company's name. They chose monday.com and were surprised to find that the monday.com domain was available. DaPulse was at the time a small company, with $2 million in the bank, an amount that alone could be the price of a wanted domain. But Mann and Zinman decided to buy it from a professional trader for $50,000. "My legs were shaking, it was a huge expense," Zinman says about the moments before the decision. The purchase went smoothly, in retrospect perhaps too smoothly, as it later turned out that the domain was stolen.
A few months earlier, Mann and Zinman were very willing to give up the name monday.com. They had ideas like Zoomza, Tiles, View and Big Board. The environment was not particularly impressed either. People told them that "monday" is not the name of a product, but of "a day everyone hates". Despite this, the two decided to move on and set out on a detective journey following the history of the domain and its incarnations on the web. It turned out that it had changed hands a lot, and among other things belonged to the consulting and accounting firm PWC, which sought to rebrand one of its divisions. "In the end they thought it was a bad name and abandoned the idea," Zinman laughed.

Mann and Zinman flew to San Francisco to meet with the original domain owner and negotiate with him. "It was unfortunate. They hacked into his email, made him 'forget a password' on GoDaddy (a web hosting and domain sales site) and stole all the popular domains he had, one by one. He managed to get them all back, except monday.com," Mann said. "He wanted a lot of money, in cash," Zinman continues. "We told ourselves 'in another 10 years we'll be a huge company and he'll be disappointed,' so we paid another $25,000 in stocks. We promised him he would enjoy our success when he will see us on billboard signs in San Francisco and feel 'how amazing it is to be part of their success.'"
It did not take long. Four years later, in February 2020, monday.com put up 22 billboards along Route 101 in San Francisco at a cost of about $400,000. From a small company with a revenue rate of $17 million during the period when it allotted the shares to the domain owners, to a company that ends 2019 at a revenue rate of $120 million (ARR index calculated by the last month in a double year 12). By December 2020, it was estimated that monday.com's revenue had reached $220 million. Some already believe that monday.com may become the largest Israeli Internet company, even more so than Wix.
