Hello there!


I am a Swedish native located in the cold north of Sweden who can help you with
translation and related services. I work from English into Swedish and I
specialize in zoology, games and audiovisual translation (also known as
subtitling).


Why these fields?


Games and films/tv-shows have something in common: stories! And I love a good
story!

Your audience want to be immersed in the stories they love. Poor translation
and adaptation will have a negative impact on their experience and make it hard
for them to enjoy your content. And what happens then? Your audience will leave
and not come back!

Being an excellent communicator, I make sure I create a story in my native
language that stays true to the source and delivers the message while feeling
natural. When creating subtitles, I am able to condense the message efficiently
to give the viewers maximum time to enjoy what’s going on on the screen. This
will make your audience come back for more, again and again!


For games, you also need someone who understands game mechanics and UI, so that
you get a localization that feels natural and functional to your gamers. And
guess what? I am that person! I grew up playing games and have experience with
city-builders (who doesn’t LOVE Pharaoh??), RPG and sci-fi games, farm and life
sims and mmo’s.


I have experience translating game content, game descriptions and UI. A recent
project I was a part of was the complete translation of the mobile app game
Heroes vs. Hordes into Swedish.


What about zoology?


I have an education in natural resource use with a focus on animals. With
knowledge, understanding and insight in animal husbandry and behaviour, I am
able to transfer information into my native language in a way that is easy to
understand, while being aware of potential law or regulation differences
between countries that could be troublesome if not adjusted.

I have experience with translation of pet products and UI content for herd
management systems for farms.
