I have excel 2000 on my computer it is supposed to support arabic but I can not work with an arabic file. excel does not recognize the characters for example when I try to find a term in the document it does not find it although the term exists, when I type a word the edit/find menu it only types the arabic charcters one by one so the term is not displayed correctly. Any one can help me with this? thank you

Make sure you have enabled Arabic Oct 5, 2005

Make sure you go into the "Microsoft Office Language Settings" tool and add Arabic as an enabled language. This will add a Right-to-Left dialog in Tools->Options for all of your office programs.
