I face a great difficulty when ever I want to write an English letter, word, or symbol in the middle of Arabic text.
Can someone help me on this?

Use the ALT+SHIFT Keys Sep 21, 2006

Left ALT+SHIFT Keys to write English and when done RIGHT ALT+SHIFT to continue the Arabic.

Thats what I always do. But the problem is that when I write the English text it goes at the beging of the line, and it does not come back to the middle of the line. Right now I cut and paste the arabic text after I right English one. But it takes time and does not work properly.

Hi

I had the same problem, but I solved it. In the symblos above, there is an icon for left and right writing and there are 2 arrows try to change the direction of the arrow (cursor). It will shift first to left and them press right again and continue.

I am going to try that. It might be because of the fonts too.
I myself use Time New Roman and Arbic fonts do not work for me. Is everyone else using Times New Roman ?

It does work, before I was clicking on the arrows right next to right and left alighnment. Rather than the ones which are letter further and having a P kind of sympol with it.
