It's of course a very personal thing and everyone is entitled to their own pov but there is a new face to humour which is about raising awareness of 'issues' or poking a finger at those with the prejudices. It's not immediately evident to some and a lot of people have taken offence. I'd put Ricky Gervais or the Little Britain sketches in that camp, not everyone's cup of tea but I, personally, see merit in some of their messages.

There are plenty of truly excellent targets for humour of this kind.
Personally, I fail to see any humour in the face of such suffering!
I get that it is the idea of baby seals enjoying a night out, but I can't separate it from the reality of the sickening practice it's referring to.
Not sure that the people whose hearts and minds, I'd say, need to be changed on this issue are going to be moved by this. Arguably, not at all.
