I received a job offer from an Italian agency and they pay upon cartella. Could you help me with an explanation of this payment method or a calculation of this cartella.

a \'cartella\' is 1,500 characters meaning 25 lines of 60 characters each, including empty spaces between words.

This Italian standard comes from 25 lines of 60 characters each.

Nowadays easy to count in Word (Tools>WordCount>characters including spaces).

C\'è anche chi utilizza la cartella AITI da 1375 battute spazi inclusi (25x55); meglio chiarire di quale cartella si tratta.
