Dear colleagues,
I look forward to meeting all of you in Rome. For those of you who will arrive on Thursday or early Friday morning, perhaps we can form a group and do some sightseeing to some famous places in Rome and make use of the Friday morning, then we can head to the Powow on time. I am also arriving earlier (already on Wednesday evening) and a little sightseeing is in my schedule too. But I am not much crazy about seeing everything from the ancient Rome in one day, but rather prefer enjoying "la dolce vita" in such beautiful places:)

I think it's a great idea! My friend Alejandra and I will be arriving on Thursday and would love to do some sightseeing on Friday.

Let us have a plan and agree on a time where we can meet in the morning and set sails. I would say the best thing is to meet at the conference hotel, and then head from there to any place we want to go.

Excellent, let us then share ideas on where to go and once we have a plan, we can agree on the time where we can meet and set sails.
I normally dont impose my own thoughts, so let us think of the famous places or the most memorable ones in Rome that are considered a must see, and plan accordingly. I believe taking photos there is something we all love, so let us plan for those really famous places. I am all open to your ideas and suggestions.

Hi all, and great to 'hear' from you!
I am trying to organize a tour for myself on Thursday with a guide someone recommended to me, but if that doesn't work out (or even if it does!), I would love to join you all.
I'm staying at the conference hotel, so if you guys give me a time to meet there, that would be great!
Looking SO forward to this conference and to seeing Rome again for the first time in (gulp) almost 30 years!

Well, I have received confirmation about my tour on Thursday, so now that I know that, I know I will be joining you on Friday!
I looked at the itineraries and they look great - we can discuss what we do that morning - Although Rome wasn't built in a day and we really only have one day to see it, we'll have to make the most of it!
