I’m a native Finnish speaker, born and raised in Finland, and although I'm currently residing near Tallinn in Estonia, I uphold close ties to Finland and Finnish culture to keep my native language fresh and up-to-date. I have completed my Master's degree in 2006 in the Savonlinna School of Translation Studies, which was a part of University of Joensuu (nowadays University of Eastern Finland). Majoring in English, I specialized in audiovisual translation early on by completing the basic studies of Audiovisual Communication for Translators and Interpreters and have been working mainly on that field since late 2005. I am a member of The Finnish Association of Translators and Interpreters (AV and Document translators’ sections).
