Freelance language professional since 2012: Translator of English, Spanish and Danish. From August 2010 to July 2015 living in Bogotá, Colombia, studying and working as a private Danish and English teacher. Volunteer translator since 2012 and co-editor since 2014 for the Danish site of the independent news portal Global Voices. From February to July 2015 working as an associated translator for the Danish Embassy in Bogotá, translating official documents for privates and companies. Furthermore, I've done legal translations, and translations within a variety of other topics; Internet communication, tourism and advertising, as well as a lot of subtitling of documentaries, feature films, TV shows, commercials, videos for marketing purpose, etc. My main specialities are topics within humanities; education and language teaching, literature, history, arts, film, as well as social studies, political sciences and ethics. Danish is my mother tongue, I'm fluent in Spanish both spoken and written, and I speak and write English at a high professional and academic level.

Currently studying a master's degree in Social Anthropology at the University of Edinburgh and living in Edinburgh, Scotland, since September 2016. Undertook studies at the master's degree in Cross-Cultural Studies at the University of Copenhagen from 2015 to 2016.
From February to May 2015 intern at Center for Memory, Peace and Reconciliation in Bogotá, Colombia with focus on planning and preparations for cultural activities, photographic record of events, exhibitions etc., as well as translation of the project "Cartongrafías de la memoria" (Cartographies of memory) from Spanish into English; personal narratives from internally displaced persons, victims of the armed conflict in Colombia.
Bachelor of Arts in Spanish language and culture from the University of Copenhagen with one year's studies at the National University of Colombia, with the main focus on socio-cultural and political studies, generally concerning Latin America, as well as translation and literature. My BA thesis was named "Memory and Museum in Colombia", where I discussed the themes considering the role of the museum as a facilitator of the historic memory with a focus on the work with the memory of the victims of the armed conflict and the violence in Colombia.
