Source text - English 3- Afternoon of December 24
Everything around us regains some life;
And it comes back to Spring;
Otherwise, it reverts to its first cell,
Like ameba;
The streets’ asphalt is clear;
More clear today than ever, of its age;
Schools are nothing but sleek stone,
And remnants of ashes;
Homes are bunches of wounded roses;
And thrown within our poems like nations;
Everything around us is hard and damp;
Clouds are almost like clouds;
It’s almost,
Soon it fades away,
and then it is restored.
Streets are empty;
And tomorrow is not the Dooms Day;
So, let’s celebrate together Jesus, in your abode,
With our survival from your hellfire.

Tudo ao nosso redor torna a ganhar vida
E retorna a Primavera
Ou regride à sua primeira célula
Como uma ameba
O asfalto das ruas é transparente
Mais hoje do que jamais o fôra
As escolas não passam de pedras elegantes
E restos de cinzas
As casas são buquês de rosas feridas
Jogadas dentro dos nossos poemas como nações
Tudo ao nosso redor é duro e úmido
As nuvens quase são como nuvens

Logo tudo se dissipa
E depois se recompõe.

I am a Brazilian translator/proofreader experienced in Christian texts, literary texts, among others.
Language pair: English to Brazilian Portuguese.
I also have an online course called "Revisão 360", in which I teach Brazilian students proofreading and normalization of master's dissertations and doctoral theses in PTBR and rules such as ABNT (Brazilian), APA (North-American), and Vancouver (Canadian style). I currently have 44 students.
In my free time, I like to free my mind by doing handcraft work with native bamboo.
My last translation project was "Your True Story", by Susan Freese (98,310 words) - June 2022 - editing.
This is the first year I decided to become a professional member here at ProZ, hoping to be part of interesting translation and proofreading jobs.
