Bio

My name is Saad Burbank and I'm a qualified Arabic to English freelance translator with over five years professional experience. I have an MA in Translation Studies from the University of Birmingham, as well as a BA in Islamic Law and a Diploma in Arabic Language from the University of Madinah.


I am 1 of 26 translators certified by the CIoL for my language pair and direction (Arabic-English). I am also an associate member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (AITI).


My specialisms include legal, religious, academic and business texts. In addition to translation, I also offer other linguistic services including subtitling, revision & editing, proofreading and transcription.
