As some contracts do ask for a handwritten copy of certain clauses. Does it sound like this is the case?

So the "manuscrito" refers to the signature in "al telefax del Contrato así firmado", I suppose. So yes to "the original copy", but I would subsititute "the original signed copy", to be sure.

In addition the entire document is 11 pages long so I don't think they would be referring to a handwritten version of it.
