Registered in the Trade Register

There's always been some controversy about "Registro Mercantil". Even so, many of us agree that it should be translated as "Trade Register/Registry", which is how I've been translating it for years, even when I worked in a North American multinational. In any case, here are some references:

Even so, that's what it means. Sometimes, being semi-repetitive is necessary for the sentence to make sense.

it's not necessary to mention the registry unless the text states the town or city where it is located.
