Spanish term

meniscales negativos

Spanish to English Medical Medical (general) Knee
This is a knee examination and it says: "No derrame intraarticular. No instabilidad. Cepillo negativo. Meniscales negativos."
I think that "cepillo negativo" is short for "cepillo rotuliano negativo" and means "negative Sage sign" but I can´t find out what test "meniscales" refers to.

Ana Gutierrez (asker) Jun 23, 2013:
Thanks Anne, could you post the answer so that I can select it?
Anne Schulz Jun 22, 2013:
I would think it is ok either way - no signs of abnormality, or meniscal tests negative. (They must have performed some kind of examination/test(s) to reach that conclusion.)
DLyons Jun 22, 2013:
I'm not sure that there were any tests. As Anne says, it might be no obvious signs of abnormality.
Ana Gutierrez (asker) Jun 22, 2013:
Ah! that would make sense. I was also thinking of translating it as "negative meniscal tests". Do you think that would be ok?
Anne Schulz Jun 21, 2013:
IMO not a sign, ...but simply the meniscuses showing no sign of abnormality.

neutral Joseph Tein : fine ... but what about the "negativos" part?

I thought the main question was "meniscales". "negativos" could be contrainications like advanced chondral wear or arthrosis?
