Spanish to English Medical Medical (general) Neurological
How do I express "actitud postural es en flexión" in English please?

This is a patient who is suffering from a brain stroke, and one of the effect is this.
"bent position" does not sound a medical term.

Thank you for your help.

Discussion

Anne Schulz Jun 26, 2015:
This (= no pathological neuromuscular activity) would point to a simple flexed, or stooped posture, IMO.
Eileen Brophy (asker) Jun 25, 2015:
This is the text before my question :
"Como consecuencia de esto y de Ia hipotonía, presenta una importante alteración de la postura." Su actitud postural es en flexión. (Text after that says: "No presenta una actividad neuromuscular "patológica" que le Ileve a esta actitud en flexión." If that helps as context related to the Ictus and patient's disabilities caused by it.

flexor-dominant posture

or "flexion-dominant" – but there really is not enough context to tell whether this is a useful term for you
