Estoy traduciendo un informe y me aparecen algunas piezas que no logro encontrar. Entre ellas, "anillos de sondaje". Solo enumera una cantidad de piezas que se revisaron en una inspección.
"Tres anillos de sondaje, tomas de mar y pala de timón - sin observaciones".
Esa es la frase.

without more context it is difficult to be sure; however, the other two terms refer to places where water may enter the vessel's hull, so it's likely that the one in question also does.
Depth sounders are fitted in through the hull fittings in almost all cases, so I'd go for that myself.
