"pique" vuol dire semplicemente "strutturato". Per lo più la stoffa/il tessuto è iil cotone, ma oramai viene fabbricato anche in altre stoffe che non sono sempre tessute. Se vai in google e cerchi "Handtuch" o semplicemente "Stoff" e "Waffelpique" puoi vedere come è fatto.
