Maggot" is not a technical term and should not be taken as such; in many standard textbooks of entomology, it does not appear in the index at all.[3][4] In many non-technical texts, the term is used for insect larvae in general.

"Bicheira" is a broader term, it refers to the infestation by fly maggots of different species. It is a synonym of myiasis. Notice it is in the plural form, "bicheiras", perhaps to indicate that the product is effective against a broad spectrum of fly maggot infestations.
Another possibility, and I may be wrong, is that it is in the text to clarify the more scientific term "miíase".
