linóleos

español al inglés Arte/Literatura Arte, artes manuales, pintura
I am confused by the plural form here. this is a prosal by an artist who works at the intersection of traditional crafts and industrial production:

Mi trabajo suele decantar en esculturas, pinturas y, más recientemente, en publicaciones colaborativas, donde reúno materiales sin jerarquías: empleo bisutería, empaques, ropa, linóleos, entre otros paisajes industriales con frecuencia intervenidos manualmente en las piezas resultantes.

linoleum seems strange on this list ...or is there a specific use I am not aware of

THANKS

I suppose lino tiles could be used as elements in themselves, but lino tiles are also used fur cutting and printing, so this could also be a possibility.

Linocut, also known as lino print, lino printing or linoleum art, is a printmaking technique, a variant of woodcut in which a sheet of linoleum (sometimes mounted on a wooden block) is used for a relief surface. A design is cut into the linoleum surface with a sharp knife, V-shaped chisel or gouge, with the raised (uncarved) areas representing a reversal (mirror image) of the parts to show printed. The linoleum sheet is inked with a roller (called a brayer), and then impressed onto paper or fabric. The actual printing can be done by hand or with a printing press.

in the singular, short for "sheets of lino"?
