umocowywać (zasadę)

Polish to English Law/Patents Law (general)
"Z wypowiedzi doktryny wynika, że udziela ona kilku odpowiedzi na dwa podstawowe pytania. Jaka treść różnicy - przedmiotowej lub podmiotowej – danej sprawy w porównaniu z innymi sprawami powinna umocowywać zasadę rozpoznania jej w szczególnym postępowaniu?"

Was living and working in Vienna, ate Wiener Schnitzels, not apples, ok "heurig" beverages from apples.

Adrian MM. Jun 11, 2021:
@ Jacek Lucky you. Sometimes, whilst a student pronounced: stoodent in Vienna, I used to be driven cross-border and loiter with intent around the rynek of the stare miasto of Krakow, looking for ripe apples to pluck.

the doctrine of stare decisis

I'm unsure I understand the whole of the nquestion asked, but a literal translation of enshrining or fastening suggested to me stare decisis in Latin, rather than judicial precedent.

'several answers to two basic questions'.. also raises the allied concept of res judicata aka in Anglo-Am. law: single-issue estoppel vs. cause-of-action estoppel.
Example sentence:

Stare decisis, which is Latin for "to stand by things decided," is a judicial doctrine under which a court follows the principles, rules, or standards of its prior decisions or decisions of higher tribunals when deciding a case with arguably similar facts

Precedent is a legal principle or rule that is created by a court decision. This decision becomes an example, or authority, for judges deciding similar issues. Stare decisis is the doctrine that obliges courts to look to precedent when making decisions.
