128 port fiber optic, 4 x 32 splitters ? FO is for sure Fibre Optique, same in English, I sugegst looking at this kind of splitters:

Tony M Jan 20, 2022:
@ Althea I think you're probably right there; I instinctively thought 'patch panel', and I'd think it is likely to be 4 rows × 32 fibres = 128
Althea Draper Jan 20, 2022:
Could it be a fibre optic patch/splicing panel? I can't see why you would have "128 FO 4 SPL32" if this was a single connector or attachment.

128 FO - 128 fibre count
4 - 4 trays??
spl32 - splice 32

For example

https://rexel-catalogues-interactifs.rexel.fr/index.php?cata... (page 84)
https://briticom.net/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Full-Product... (pages 61 to 70 - various examples and FO used throughout to mean fibre optic count)

The only Google hit for the reference number is this English one:
http://www.gigamedia.net/c208943&aGGM ACSH
but the reference number doesn't appear on that page. However, most of the products are patch leads or patch cords, so your suggestion could be right. "Patch" also fits with Patricia's reference, which is about making connections.

neutral Tony M : I think this is far less plausible than Althea's suggestion in discussion.

fibre optic patch panel or splicing panel

Given the small amount of source text, this is what I thought. (Note that 'fibre' can also be 'fiber'. It depends on which English speaking country this translation is for.)

Also, possibly 128 FO - 128 fibre count
4 - 4 trays??
spl32 - splice 32

Peer comment(s):

neutral Tony M : Specifically NOT 'splice'! With fibre optics, 'splicing' is a very specific technique, quite separate from the totally different action of 'patching'
