: Specifically NOT 'splice'! With fibre optics, 'splicing' is a very specific technique, quite separate from the totally different action of 'patching'

but the reference number doesn't appear on that page. However, most of the products are patch leads or patch cords, so your suggestion could be right. "Patch" also fits with Patricia's reference, which is about making connections.
