Is this distinct (broader?) to special power of attorney? How to reflect the administration and disposition elements in the English?

: "For administration and disposition" is redundant in my opinion. That's what powers of attorney are for.

: vs. .. of stewardship & dealing (in land) https://www.investopedia.com/terms/s/special-power-attorney.... and ignore our legally unqualified ProZ accountants' ignorant comments. Spelling out the specific purposes of the PoA is *NOT* redundant, but crucial

: Agree with Phil; and whilst a welcome change from Adrian's habitual Scottish law quotes, Indian law unlikely to be key here for an asker based in Northern Ireland, even with target audience left unstated..

special power of attorney
I don't know why they've chosen this particular form of words, but it sounds exactly like a power of attorney to me. A literal translation sounds weird.

A power of attorney is an authorisation to administer something on behalf of something else, hence "administración". "Disponer" has a similar meaning - the idea is "to arrange". These two terms don't add anything to the meaning - you just need to say power of attorney.

: No, that's not right. I've read enough of these to know that they're granted for different purposes, why else would they be qualified as "general" and "special"? Some are specifically for management, for litigation and collection, for labor suits, etc.

I don't understand your comment - this is clearly not a general power of attorney.

: your fixation with redundancies is getting the better of your answers and verging close on *prof. negligence*. A spec. PofA is for certain tasks & purposes, rather than others. // 'Every word in the ST must be accounted for.', Newmark.

It's not a 'fixation' - you revel in redundancy, I think it's bad writing. And I know what a special power of attorney is.//Yes, accounted for, not included word-for-word in the translation.

: A whole host of POAs are special POAs; in asker's context, more specificity is needed

attorney: special power of administratioón and disposition - https://lanselllegal.com.au/services/civil/impaired-capacity...
The enduring power of attorney continues to operate after the person ceases to be of sound mind; section 105 of the Guardian and Administration -
A special power of attorney is a legal document that authorizes one person, called an agent or an attorney in fact, to act on behalf of another person, known as the principal, under specific, clearly laid-out circumstances. - https://www.investopedia.com/terms/s/special-power-attorney....
powers, are distinct from dispositions: For typical scientific properties, the
same power figures in the truth-maker of many disposition attributions. In a second
step, I argue that laws are required over and above powers, as constituents of the truthmakers of disposition attributions. - https://halshs.archives-ouvertes.fr/halshs-02559629/document

Discussion
Power of attorney just means "authorization to act on someone's behalf," it doesn't necessarily mean administrating or disposing of things:
"A power of attorney (POA) or letter of attorney is a written authorization to represent or act on another's behalf in private affairs (which may be financial or regarding health and welfare), business, or some other legal matter. "
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_of_attorney
FYI, "disposition" doesn't just mean "arranging stuff":
"What does disposition mean in business?
In business, disposition may refer either to "the transfer of property from one to another by any of various means including gift, barter, sale, or will" or to “the plan for or method by which such a transfer is executed.”
https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/disposition
Now, not all PoAs allow the agent to both administrate and get rid of the principal's property, so yes, your translation comes up short.
That any clearer?
