"implantación" refers to a parameter that doesn't seem to be routinely included in guides or manuals on physical examination of the head and hair in English, but is at least sometimes included in Latin America particularly. Hi guys! I don't have more context. It is just a medical report and that's all that it says about the patient's head. But I agree with you all it must be making reference to the growth of his hair rather than implantation. Thank you all!

Also, in reference to other's suggested translation is adequate, it is a common mistake in ES-EN translation and viveversa: adecuado in Spanish does not mean adequate (sufficient or acceptable in some contexts) in most cases, but appropriate, like in this case.
