I understand 'torta' here to mean a glazed pottery disc, but am unsure how to translate it. There are similar references in the text to 'parches' so I wonder if it could be translated as 'patch', or something similar.

en la pagina 11 de unas 13, en el documento emplean VEDRIO 3 veces. Quote...Como ilustra la Figura 18, la zona en el extremo sur de la estructura, en torno a
