Me parece que hace referencia al número de pacient La RAE en su acepción 18 para "corte" indica lo siguiente:

Servicio o pequeña diligencia que se encomienda a alguien y por la cual se da algún pago.

Siguiendo esta definición, puedo interpretar que la "diligencia" es el paciente asignado al médico en su turno.

I will include a note to the client about this After looking at all of the various medical forms, I noticed that only the Emergency Department and Request for Emergency Room Medical Records forms have No. de Corte. In the same area, inpatient hospital stay forms have No. de Habitación. So I wonder if Corte could be an Exam Area in the ER, which are usually surrounded by curtains (cortinas/cortinaje). Or the exam rooms are called corte for some reason. Just wanted to update. Thanks so much for your help

No, not "cohorte", any kind of error. I think I'd just check with the client in this one

@jmf "Intake nº" seems a logical assumption and would be a strong contender if the term was "número de cohorte"....

@Laura Are you suspecting a typo for "cohorte"? I suppose it is possible, but seems unlikely in the context of a medical record, unless it refers to clinical trials.

Intake No.? I've encountered this 4 times now and it's always part of the patient's information, and always a different number (between 1 and 65). I wonder if it means the order of patients seen in an ER. The only other thing I can think of is it being related to imaging, like a film slide, but I'm not finding context in the medical records for that. Thanks in advance
