It's a translation of a legal deposition done to someone from Honduras. He is a construction worker. This was done for an American attorney and a witness from this country. He is living in The United States for many years but he still have English problems but he has forgotten how to say some Spanish words because he is The USA for so many years.
This is for Latin People living in The United States and Americans. Is okay to translate it as trowel?

Attorney: ¿Qué tipo de instrumentos o materiales estaba usando para su trabajo de construcción?
Construction worker: Yo estaba usando las escaleras de la empresa, martillos, pintura para poder pintar el ceiling( techo), una espátula,guantes,un taladro de mano, puntillas y tornillos.
Yo me colocaba un arnés,guantes y un casco cuando hacía el trabajo de construcción con mis otros compañeros.
Usábamos andamios para poder alcanzar lugares altos especialmente el andamio tipo Baker.
