Hello all
Can someone tell me what C stands for. Is it central time? And why some TV channels have ET/PT (Eastern time/Pacific time) in their schedule and others have a "c"?
Another (silly) question, if a program is broadcasted live in NY then a guy living there can tell how the program ends to a guy living in San Franciso before he can see it as they both live in different tome zones? Does it make any sense??

Many thx
Valéry

The information provided depends on which viewers you are addressing. The market can be national, in which case Eastern and Pacific times are provided; or the market can be divided in two large areas, Eastern and Central, Mountain and Pacific.
So yes, if a show is broadcast earlier on the east coast (something networks try to avoid as much as is possible, including for sports events), someone there can give away the plot or the result to someone awaiting the same broacast on the west coast.

Central Time.
